
Greetings Folks ~ Shedding Light has openings for six overweight women. Our goal is to lose ten pounds by June 21. We have just finished our first month of the Spring session and we have two months to go. We're taking baby steps here and want the weight to stay off. By getting rid of unwanted weight, both in pounds and baggage, we'll be shedding light on our inner selves. We are seeking balance.
Our methods are simply following a disciplined plan of walking, drinking lots of water and eating more fruits and vegetables. Writing posts related to assigned Waves (steps) and support by the group is the biggest motivator.
You will be encouraged to write a short poem or haiku after walking. These are called Creative Currents. Waves (steps) will be presented bi-weekly. We are now on our Third Wave. Participation is essential to making this work. Only join if you're going to participate. It's not easy to lose ten pounds.
