MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich. - A western Michigan man helped deliver his wife's baby boy - though he hadn't known she was pregnant.
The Grand Rapids Press reported the man called 911 early Thursday as his wife was in labor. The man told the dispatcher that he had not known his 27-year-old wife was pregnant. He said they recently quit smoking and thought her recent weight gain was related.
The couple has two children, and the mother has an additional child from a previous relationship.

It happens, Jan. Some women just don't experience any kind of symptoms or are so heavy set that they don't show. The wife of a friend of my hubby's had this happen to her, too! He thought his wife was having appendicitis, but it was a baby!!!
When I was pregnat with my oldest son if it wasn't for the nurse saying yes you are pregnat..i would not of known it. he didn't move or kick that i could feel. I sure didn't look pregant when I gave birth either.
This happened to a family friend, but she was in her 40s and thought she was entering menopause.
