Tidal waves gravitate;
move steadily toward one another
As if some strange force
were beckoning them to merge for a season.
Rhymically they frolic;
dance to the movement of the ocean -
Then drown...
in a sea of bliss.
Is this not
nature's apex of passion...
the attraction of the Moon and the Sun?

Love and hugs - S.
I'm glad I came.
You see magic in those waves and you see the forces that pull on us too. Your poem reveals that wonderfully. Bravo
Thank you for your insightful, substantive comments. They grace my page.
You captured my intent perfectly! "A sheer joy" to read your assessment... Thank you, my dear friend. I am always astounded at the symbolism between nature and mankind. I was thrilled you caught "the kicker"! That astute poetic eye of yours is "spot on".
Barbra, my dear, what a grand tempo and style you've given to such marvelous activity so masterfully anthropomorphized by your penning! Superb!
Thanks for your lovely comment.
"Blackpool" is near Lancashire, I am thinking, and is known for a tower built there resembling, or patterned after, the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Glad it brought back that memory for you.
