I've been wanting to get some real maternity photos and I had a lot of ideas. Our trip to the beach gave me the perfect time to carry out my plans. I put in settings, set up shots and then explained to my husband where to shoot from, angles to use, etc. I told him he was my really fancy tripod. :) I think we got a few good ones. My favorite is my profile picture. I'm VERY happy with how that one turned out. Here some other keepers:
I thought this one had a very "secret garden" feel to it. It was shot right outside a garden store and perfectly models what I call "finding the location":

This blue wall is a store that sells kites. The bamboo was an added bonus!

I'm not sure about the conversion here. A little too much red but I love the photo.

This parasol was a fun find in a thrift store in town. It cost $10.

And your hubby makes a great tripod ;~)
Beautifdul young lady and beautiful art!
thank you for sharing
Spartan, we did some nudes too but I'm sure I'm ready to share them online... I love how they turned out though!
John, thank you! You know, that's one of my favorites too. :)
I can guarantee you that if I posed like that in those same locations, they would not be beautiful. I would have looked like beached whale when I was pregnant. I gained 50 pounds with both pregnancies.
Just beautiful, I loved every shot!
