Maternity Photos

I've been wanting to get some real maternity photos and I had a lot of ideas. Our trip to the beach gave me the perfect time to carry out my plans. I put in settings, set up shots and then explained to my husband where to shoot from, angles to use, etc. I told him he was my really fancy tripod. :) I think we got a few good ones. My favorite is my profile picture. I'm VERY happy with how that one turned out. Here some other keepers:

I thought this one had a very "secret garden" feel to it. It was shot right outside a garden store and perfectly models what I call "finding the location":

This blue wall is a store that sells kites. The bamboo was an added bonus!

I'm not sure about the conversion here. A little too much red but I love the photo.

This parasol was a fun find in a thrift store in town. It cost $10.

Beautiful images, Lacey!!! I have a dear friend that I have been close to ever since our Navy days. Many moons ago he took some of the most tasteful nudes of his wife while she was pregnant! There was NOTHING sexual about his images. They were just stunning in their beautiful display of "womanhood" if that is the correct term.

The top one is my favorite although it shows your pregnant belly less dramatically than some of your others.

I love all of them. You are a beautiful model also.

I can guarantee you that if I posed like that in those same locations, they would not be beautiful. I would have looked like beached whale when I was pregnant. I gained 50 pounds with both pregnancies.
