CVS 101 Tutorial ~ CVS Extra Bucks Make Cents ~

Do you want to learn to save money and easily keep your family stocked with necessary health and beauty items, some food and cleaning supplies for free or pennies on the dollar?  Below are links to the CVS 101 Tutorial articles I have written for the gather group "CVS Extra Bucks Make Cents."

You can keep your family's H&B item needs met with very little out of pocket cash.  You will also be able to have extra items for gifts, for sharing or for donating.  Just by shopping at CVS and using their weekly sale ad, their coupons, their extra care bucks' program and manufacturer coupons. 

It is a whole new way of thinking and shopping, but it is also very rewarding.  It will take a while to learn the ropes, change your thinking and get the hang of the system, but before long you will be enjoying the benefits of learning to "CVS."

there isnt one by me:( I used to love their clearance and getting the extra bucks. I shop at rite aid though and get 10% off rite air brands with their card

in my town they are almost done building a brand new CVS ohhhhhhhhh its sooooo pretty, it opens on mothers day and ill take some pics and try to get pics of the old on its really small.

CVS is a great place to shop for all those sales! Regular prices run high though so you have to be careful.

Question?? When you have the $5/$25 coupon does the $25 total before the coupons or after the coupons. And that doesn't deduct the easy bucks does it?

Okay, good question--different answers. At my store, I get $25 total, give the $5 off and then all other coupons and extra bucks. I have read of others having problems and stores telling them it has to be after all coupons, but when they call customer service they are told it is the subtotal before any coupons used. That is a problem with CVS--sometimes stores make up their own rules as they go--most things CVS have set in stone, but some things managers get to choose. Also, sometimes you can ask the same question to two different C.S. reps and get two different answers. Sorry for the confusion. What I would do, is email C.S. (it takes a few days to get an answer sometimes) and ask if the $25 is before or after manufacturer's coupons then you will have an answer to print if you need to incase you run into trouble. I find calling easier, because I seem to be misunderstood in emails more than talking:) but having something to print to show is good.

Anyways, it does not affect the extra bucks you earn at all.
