CIA agents say that Obama's release of CIA documents endanger our national security. I believe he means well, but is incompetent to be president. As if our enemies don't torture, now they have new means to get to our people and secrets. Our secrets were handed over by the President of the United States. Obama needs to remember that while he is popular abroad, he is fast losing ground here, and needs to re-check where his loyalities lie. He's a pretty talker, but he is not acting in our best interest.
Mr. President,
We can't take our secrets back, now can we?
According to an article in the Washington Post yesterday,
"Prompted by the then-unraveling Watergate affair, and by fears that CIA involvement in that scandal would be exposed along with other illegal operations, the agency combed its files for what it called "delicate" information with "flap potential." The result was a collection of documents the CIA called the "family jewels.'"

Which do you personally feel endanger our lives?
So I don't believe it is incompetence, although that could also explain everything seen so far, but his hatred of America.
I have to go to take care of the twins. I will get back to all of you with Lori's answer. If someone cn do this me. Google CIA and family jewels, and all Lori's answers will be there. The mama, my daughter of 3 week old twins is running 102 temp, so I must leave now.
Now Carol I know you are really smart and actually looked at what the "family jewels" aka cia interogation tactics records that are set to be released actually contained before just blindly jumping on the bandwagon.
So you know that the CIA doesnt give a rats arse about YOUR safety they are just worried about saving the behinds of their agents who performed these interogation tactics.

Perhaps you would do better googling BEFORE writing this article.
Ohhh how hard Lori. When you speak, it might actually help if you actually knew what you were talking about?
I googled her post, and had 72,500 pages.
Ohhh and I don't hate this countryu dumbass, I hate having a Marxist President, and Anti-American Liberals running down the Country I do care about. Which you do see to enjoy.
Ignorant, and a total jackass.
Dan is about as Anti American as you can get.
What about Valerie Plame? Leaking that name surely didn't endanger anyone, did it? Remind me again - who was responsible for THAT? And how did that make us "safer"?
Update - June 26, 2007, 1 p.m. - The full "family jewels" report, released today by the Central Intelligence Agency and detailing 25 years of Agency misdeeds, is now available on the Archive's Web site. The 702-page collection was delivered by CIA officers to the Archive at approximately 11:30 this morning -- 15 years after the Archive filed a Freedom of Information request for the documents.
The report is available for download in its entirety and is also split into five smaller files for easier download.
So the "family jewels" cia reports have been made public since 2007 and we ARENT DEAD YET......OYOURGOD THAT IS SO SCARY.
Is it just me?
Once again if breathing werent an involuntary reflex....lets just say we would have lots more oxygen in the world.
That said, it seems to me that the CIA divulging ANY information they have to ANYONE outside the U.S. could certainly put people in compromising, if not dangerous, situations.
I'm also certain that some exchange of information has always gone on, "under the table", but the players involved all knew about it and knew the risks associated.
So far, I've seen this moron YOU people (and by YOU I mean anyone who voted for Obama) apologize for....well, practically for the existence of the U.S.....I've seen him bow to royalty and shake hands with a snake. I've also seen him reach out to a brutal dictator, and can't wait to see what bonehead move he'll pull next. Maybe he'll invite Kim Jong-Il to tea and give him a few nuclear secrets...you know, so they can build and launch a much more efficient missile next time.
Now YOU are being willfully stupid !!! Stop it !!!
You mean like Bill Clinton the traitor, who gave Kim the technology in the first place?
"You mean like Bill Clinton the traitor, who gave Kim the technology in the first place?"
More people who can't seem to read news beyond headlines, and think beyond extreme black and white are showing up to add to the nonsense. Wow.
Listen carefully to today's press conference with President Obama. He signaled a major shift in his thinking on how the Justice Department will hold Bush administration officials accountable.
Rumsfeld should just be flogged.

Lori F you are so funny
"I did hear the CIA has Colonel Sander secret recipe"
I have no idea where all this stuff posted anti Obama comes from but I have a sneaking suspension someone is taking late nights jokes a little too seriously
"President Barack Obama said Tuesday the United States lost "our moral bearings" with gruesome terror-suspect interrogations and he left the door open to prosecuting Bush administration officials who vouched for their legality."
Rumsfeld and Chaney are going down !!!! (if there is any justice in the world)
So now they're scrambling with the fear to justify their crime against humanity. That Jedi mind trick only works on the feeble minded.
Chaney won't be so glamorous as a Nazi type. He'll just have to face his war crimes, and that will be that.
It's still torture. It's still illegal. It's still wrong.
Get real. "Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer." You can't do that by ignoring them.
I'm also a Republican. However it sickens my stomach when Fox News gives the scumbags Cheney and Rove airtime. It is also my opinion that the Obama administration should go after Rove and Cheney for war crimes.
At least Bush has the decency to keep his mouth shut concerning these issues. Id bet that when it's all out in the open, the only crime that Bush will be guilty of is listening to Rove and Cheney.
2.there was nothing in the recent release that was new
3.a CIA "agent" is a foreign national spying for us,a CIA "officer" is a US employee who is as unlikely as the former to be candid about anything
