I've seen several different types of butterflies already this season! As a matter of fact, there were about 3 days in a row about 2 weeks ago that there was a constant STREAM of butterflies (I think they were "red admirals") going past the house! They came in bunches of from 2 or 3 up to about a dozen at ONCE! They were all flying from the southwest going toward the northeast... And our place wasn't the only spot I saw them. I saw many of them crossing the freeway during that same time -- going the same direction and coming from the same direction as the ones that went past my house!
