Bad News: Stephen Hawking is "Very Ill," Cambridge University reports.

Just read that Stephen Hawking is 'very ill' and has been taken to a hospital.

He has had some close calls before in the hospital; let us hope that he can overcome this illness as well. Thanks.

It will be a bad day for science if he doesn't recover from this episode. Unfortunately, his disability is 100% fatal.

I know. He's outlived his ALS so far; the prognosis is usually 3 years. He's lived 40 or so. Let's hope he can make twenty more.
