Keeping Your Child Active & Healthy

In our present time, we cannot refuse the fact that the technology is stealing our kid's attention from being active. The different game consoles and extreme exposure to computers and television are main hindrances for them to do the usual physical activities that they should be doing.

If you think that keeping your kid inside the house with such latest game gadgets is best for them, then think again! You must realize that he/she is still a kid. You have to understand the significance of developing their physical skills and social relationship with other children.

Below are some tips that will make your kid active and healthy.

- Create a small play area in your garden. You may ask some of your kid's neighbors and classmates to spend an afternoon play.
- Register your kid to a special sports class where he/she can improve his/her interests in any sport
- Train your kid on how to ride a bicycle.
- Plan sports fest every month.
- Limit your kid from spending time in playing game consoles and computers
