I had a friend who was like this and I had to quit being friends with her because she would tell my boyfriend (now my husband) bad things about me that were not true and she would tell me bad things about him. Eventually we compared notes about what she was saying and I told her I didn't want to be friends anymore. She did this because she didn't want me getting married and settling down because she wanted me to be around to go do things when she wanted.

prehaps she is going thru a low self esteem issue and wants your total undivided attention? could be you just got yourself an awesome man and she wants one too?!

I would never talk bad about Myfaeia. I'm happy she found someone that treats her right. I'm not that kind of friend who does that so she don't have to worry about that. I will not risk my friendship with her. Her happiness is the only that matters to me.

Besides, When Myfaeia is happy..I'm happy. That is all that matters. You guys don't have to make me like a bad person when I'm not.

No my Friends she has not talked down to me but I get the feeling that she wants me to her self. All I am asking is how can I help her understand that I can not nor will not choose between her and me boyfriend!

It could be a self esteem issue. I wouldn't talk about him to her anymore. If she keeps it up, I would think she's not that good of a friend.

Maybe she feels you aren't spending as much time with her anymore, or maybe she doesn't have someone that special in her life.

Myfaeia, is she just upset or is she jealous. The two things are not the same.

When you are young, having a man in your life seems very important. We still teach women in this society that you are worth more if a man says he wants you. That's so sad. We should feel wonderful to be who we are and realize that men are just like us, only human.

Terry, I told Myfaeia about my plans way before she told me she had a boyfriend. When she told me she had a boyfriend it came out of shock. I haven't seen Myfaeia in 3 years. I thought we could catch up on lost times. I'll always love Myfaeia like a sister. I only was doing this to get her off the streets that's all. I care about her. I don't want to see her back on the streets. I don't know why everybody has to talk down on me. I didn't do anything wrong. All I want is the best for Myfaeia cause she means alot to me and don't want to lose her.

Nancy, I know you care about Myfaeia because I saw you offered her gas money when she needed it. I think all women need to learn to not give over their whole life to a guy just because he comes into the picture. It's good you guys got it worked out. Frienships are definitely worth it.

Friendships are a blessing to me and I don't want to lose it. Myfaeia and I had a close friendship and now it seems like it's fading now since her boyfriend is in the picture.

No Nancy it is not fading. I too count Friendships as a Blessing. But I also count finding a soul-mate as a Blessing as well!
