I was going to make burritos, but I was laying down and not feeling great, so I had Nick make them instead. I had planned to have burritos, homemade salsa with chips, and Mexican rice. I forgot to have him make up the salsa (a spice kit with tomatoes- but it has to set for an hour or so to soak into the tomatoes), and the rice, so it was just burritos.
For supper, we had a very fascinating meal.....Italian au jus beef tips (hubby did NOT like, the kid and I loved...LOL!), baked potatoes w/butter, and cottage cheese, along with strawberry Jell-O applesauce!
Friday night I ate at Chili's for girl's night out and had the lime grilled shrimp salad and a Presidente Margarita, salsa and chips. I wanted the Molten Lava Cake, but was too stuffed. I ate a bite of some of that cake that one of the other girl's had gotten. Can you say YUMMOLICIOUS???
tonight I had homemade vegetable soup - no meat. It was yummy too. I also had 5 M&M's and a few almonds.
I made a big pot of Cajun Style black eyed peas with onions, and jalapeno sausage in them, in the crock pot. I also made a pan of homemade, sweet cornbread, and fried potatoes, with sliced tomatoes and onions.
We had kung pao chicken before my husband left for work at like 3 pm. Then right before Elliott went to bed we had cheese and crackers and carrot sticks with ranch.
Only advice I can give right now is best effective way to have more readers/viewers is when you send out a mailing about your piece, please have a clickable link. It makes things easier. Sorry, just trying to be helpful. :o)
