My Husband and I Are Heading to the Beach

Our anniversary was last Monday (seven years!) so we're making our yearly trek to Cannon Beach, OR. Since this will be the last year we can uphold this tradition due to our upcoming move to TX, we decided to go all out. We usually stay at a cheaper hotel and spend less in general on this trip, but this year we decided to rent the nicest room at an adults-only B&B. It has a tower over looking the pacific ocean, a deep soaking tub in an alcove, gourmet three course breakfast... And no children. *sigh* After my very long week this is going to be absolutely perfect. Three whole days of rest. No dishes to wash, no food to cook, no laundry, nothing. And it's supposed to be in the 70's at the beach which is practically unheard of for this time of year on the pacific coast.

I will of course bring home many pictures. :) My hubby is going to get his own camera for the first time since we haven't sold off my old DSLR yet so he's excited about that. I may even teach him a thing or two about shooting in manual. It should be a really fun trip! I'll "see" you when I get back!
