This next week is making me nervous, excited, and so much more all in one.  For you that don't know I have been planning Baby James Foundation's first annual child abuse rally and vigil.  I have so many emotions in this it is hard to explain.  This is the first time I will be speaking in front of a group of people regarding my abuse and how the foundation was formed.  I really need you all to remember me as well pray for a good turn out. 

Starting tomorrow I am going over to A.C.T. to go through things see what we got and do the last of the inventory.  I will be starting Monday finishing up on emails, confirming, and making signs.  Please all pray as well for we desperatly need candles for the vigil.  Then Thursday we are going to pick up pictures that a company printed for us of 100 children of abuse to hang up. I will earlier Thursday start rearranging and deciding where we want tables and etc.  Then Thursday night we are going out to eat to use the gift certificates that Pastor Mark and Deb, and Pastor Carl and Grace gave us when we renewed our vows.  Friday we are finishing setting up, making the sauce for the spaghetti.  Saturday will be the most hectic, we have to pick up the garlic bread that is being cooked fresh, 100 balloons will be delivered about noon.  Then the rally starts at 3:00. 

I am really excited about the items that will be auctioned off.  A Kiss autographed guitar, Bruce Springstein record album, and a Wilma cartoon picture autographed.  Please feel free to copy the flier and send to anyone in this area if you happen to know anyone.  Wish me the best all I am really going to need the prayers.

So this next week if I am not on much you will know why.  In fact Sunday and Monday of the following week I will probable be resting up.  Grandma and papa are coming to get James on Thursday and keeping him till the rally on Saturday.  That will really help out a lot.  It is so great having them in our life.

Good luck with this and I will pray for you. Alot of times you can get coke to sponser you and give you the little cups for the vigil that go around the candles. Perhaps someone can donate the candles? sorry for the late advice but this is the first post I got.

You are really doing great things Renee! My prayers are with you and I wish you all the best for everything to go smoothly. I wish you strength for getting up in front of so many to tell your personal story. You really have a lot on your plate, preparing for this wonderful event. Good luck, Renee! We had our child abuse prevention rally on the capitol steps at the beginning of the month with a pretty good turnout -- around 200 people. That's less than in prior years but the weather wasn't very good that day. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

What a wonderful event - it looks like you've got some great activities planned and celebrity signed items too - ! Wow - that's really big!
