I have placed bird feeders in my front yard. I love to sit and watch the birds. I started with one feeder. But there were dozens of birds sitting on the branches waiting to feed. So now I have 3 feeders and there are still birds waiting to feed. I have found that different kinds of seeds bring different kinds of birds to the feeders. I live in a an area that is ideal for birds. I have a brook in my back yard then to the side of the my house I have a very large creek. So the birds have everything they need here.
Sometimes I have no clue what type of bird I am taking a photo of. But my Gather friends help by giving me their thoughts. Then I go and do an internet search and find that my Gather friends are very smart. Thanks guys/gals!

I'm still combing through all mine.
I wonder if the finches are purple finches. I can't see them well enough to be certain.
What a wonderful peek into your yard and the lives of it's inhabitants. :)
HOWEVER DID YOU PUT MUSIC IN YOUR POST:) Very clever, Amy:)
Thanks so much for sharing.
I've seen all 15 species of cranes here at the Crane foundation and that doesn't appear to be any of them. It also seems smaller but it's hard to tell. Cranes are a good 5 foot tall or more as a rule.
