This morning as the sun was rising and the sky was turning a beautiful southern blue, I woke up at my cousin Marylou's place. I have never been here before and in Marylou's absence I got to spend some time with her daughter, my cousin Lisa. Lisa and I both share May 1st as our birthdays; mine in 1963 and hers, 1962. Of course, being the bad cousin I am, I haven't seen her in nearly twenty years. Today we are sharing a pleasant day of reminiscing and enjoying her mother's beautiful home.
Marylou, like the rest of us, is from Maine. But she and her husband Larry have indeed carved themselves out a very picturesque slice of southern solitude.
Streaker arose with me this morning and after chasing a couple of squirrels and something resembling one of Elise's possums, decided that she liked my cousin Marylou's little place and she decided she wanted to give you all a brief tour. Please enjoy this little slice of southern; and y'all enjoy this visit y'hear!

Y'all come back soon now.................................

Love to you brother
Love the photos. My son is May 1st, also. He will be 21.
Me? I'm lusting after that pool where I'd spend the hot, southern afternoon and then the big veranda where I'd relax with a mint julep through the evening.
Looks like a good place to let your wounds heal up a bit.
Great photos, RB. Dun good.
Kidnapped
Such a pretty doggy!!
