Violet Dream ~ Repost for Zoomit

Last night I had a dream of purple and green

lying with my back to the sun

no fear of stinging bees

nor concern for grass stained knees

 

For I was just five,with scant thought of future

bearing little burden of past

no worries, no regrets

just thoughts of violets

Soft an lovely, used to pick violets for my mother when I was small and got many bouqets of them from my kids too, such a lovely choice for the V challenge.

This is great!! Makes me think of when I was a kid. I was always outside, always grass-stained and mud-splattered, always darkly tanned. I loved the summer. I loved outdoors. Still do.
