$$ 1561 4 points to $25.00 cashout! $$

I have been a member of Gather since December of 2008, and I am now just 4 points away from my first paypal $25.00 cashout at 1565 points. I am so excited! It's been a fun four months, going place in pictures and videos that I have never been before, and reading all sorts of interesting posts.  Having used Paypal years ago when I dabbled in Ebay, and later cancelling my account due to not using it, I knew I needed to get set up with Paypal a few days in advance.  For those not familiar to Paypal, you need to go to Paypal.com and get set up.  Have your checkbook handy so you can enter your bank routing number and account number.  They will actually make a couple of deposits to your account of a few cents, and then you have to go back into Paypal to and type in those amounts in a verification screen.  This is why you need to go in and get setup with paypal a few days in advance of cashout.  The Paypal website states that I can get a Paypal debit card after 60 days of opening my account.  Those of you who have Paypal, do you have a Paypal debit card? Do your recommend it?

That is great!!!!!i have worked this year for points for a home depot card and I'm a few short and I know I will get it today.I'm building a shed for the rv and I need 6 home depot cards to do it and I have 4 here and will order 2 today when I get the last few points I need.

Dont forget to order your paypal debit card so you can go to the grocery store and buy a candy bar and take out your cash without any fees!

I've always done the gift cards. I've been here so long that I can't even remember who the original benefactors were.

Come summer, they generally do some major promotions with points around here because most of us are outside instead of in front of our computers and they need the clicks. They did one last August that most people really cleaned up on. I made $275 on that one and then quit for the last couple of weeks of it because I got sick of it, but I know a few people who made a couple grand on it.

Congratulations for reaching your first payout! I have the debit card from paypal. I used it more in the past when I was active with ebay. I liked to use it to pay the postage for shipping packages. I tend to save up my Gather money and then move it to a savings account until I am ready to use it for vacation or something fun.

well, lets see, since my goal is to keep a roof over my head, and I'm still not homeless, then yes, I guess I did spend it on my goal! LOL Not quite THAT bad but Gather $$ do go toward bills. I try to sneak some of it to have set aside for birthdays coming up in June.

Congrats! In my time here, a lot of my money has gone towards gifts (weddings, birthdays, Christmas), and some towards splurging. My money earned from January 1st to May 31st is going towards taking the kids on a camping trip. The money from June 1st to the end of November will be Christmas.
