Well, I'm Still Here But...

I'm getting a lot of work done on the computer on my web site.  I'm so grateful that they have the computers.  It's funny but most of the people get on for about fifteen or twenty minutes to check email or whatever and get off but there are a couple of us who seem to actually be working.  One lady brought her Mac laptop with her so she doesn't need these.  What's nice is that they do have free wi-fi for jurors here in the building.  If I didn't need an outlet for mine, I would have brought it.

It's interesting because most people don't even seem very interested in the computers.  They are either reading, sleeping or something.  I really haven't looked around much to find out what other people are doing. 

Okay, I'm going to get back to work before lunch time.  We get an hour and a half for lunch.  This judge even explained why we get an hour and a half which I don't think any of us were interested in knowing really.  All I care about is having the time so I can take the subway down to Quiznos.  Since I know right where it is and I can get my food and head back up here quickly, I prefer that.  Plus the fact, everything is sky high in price around the courthouse.  They charged me $2.75 for Nestle's Quick!  It's usually $1.75 in most places.  You would think this place was Disneyland for their prices.

This is sort of a nice break from work, though.  I get to do my own stuff and have a legitimate excuse for missing work.
