...but fired for the right one. But I'll get to that in a minute.
First of all, Christine is not a last name. It's a stripper last name. Would you hire a 20-year-old bombshell named Amber Chastity for any job and not expect her to reveal her goods for cash at some point? How about Jazmin Chloe? Jaime-Jo Destyni? The sex-industry-ready name should have been the first red flag for Casa Robles High School before they hired her to coach their cheerleading squad.
It wouldn't have been hard to learn about Christine's modeling. Before today's flood of news articles about her, a Google search would have easily revealed her MySpace and Model Mayhem pages. The latter shows her nude photos, for chrissakes! Although, it should be noted that Christine seems to have done the nude shoot while she was employed by Casa Robles - not before. The photos were posted by Playboy in February 2009. She was presumably fired very recently, although I didn't catch that detail in any other news article.
I find it hard to believe that these photos were only first "discovered" when a group of girls who were rejected from joining the team (along with their vicariously rejected mothers) suddenly had a reason to strike back and soothe their hurt feelings. There were people who knew about this and tolerated it before Carlie Christine made enemies. And that's how/why she was outed - after those girls were denied their desire to join the squad, their parents made copies of the photos and sent them to the principal.
Now yes, I must concede that it was right that Christine was fired. Even though she didn't sleep with a student, or take pictures of her engaging in anything sexual, it was completely careless of her to consent to being a "Cyber Girl of the Week" for Playboy's website. She was asking to get fired for making her nude self so easily available on the web.
My problem is with the parents for whom spite was their obvious motive for tattling.

When you hear stories like these you think of so many things that could have happened, but didn't....would they have happened? We'll never know.
Before or after doesn't matter, the image of the public school is at stake.
Mooch
Seems kinda backwards to me - isn't Playboy considered the final extension of high school cheerleaders? I know at least one of the cheerleaders from my high school ended up in an off brand of Playboy and I swear that was her goal back in high school (or at least what I hoped she'd end up doing).
I actually didn't know high school cheerleading was a thing in and unto itself; I always thought it was one of the prerequisites for posing nude somewhere. Guess I learned something new today.
Well...YEAH!
Personally I find the whole concept of high school cheer-leading to be an exceptionally poor avenue for girls to explore dance or gymnastics anyway. As Phineas points out is is merely a way for them to be convinced that how they look and pose is the most important aspect of their lives. But if its essential to condemn these young women to this kind of competitive slutitude, at least permit them a coach as qualified as Ms Christine appears to be.
How many of those mothers walked over and deleted their kid's membership from MySpace?
Not one single cheerleader is going to be a better person as a result of Ms. Christine's termination. Did she kill anybody? Is she a child molester? Does she use or sell illegal drugs? Probably not. She's a beautiful woman with the necessary qualifications to do the job she was hired for. I think therein lies the problem.
I can only imagine these same mothers gathering around a bowl of milk at the PTA meetings.
Thanks for filling in those details. You sound like you might know Carlie. Do you?
All teachers and staff are not to have engaged or if they have not to in any way reveal they did any thing immoral, or illegal. If found out it means immediate termination and if a teacher you lose your certification.
Then kids go to college and get a cultural shock, some profs. swear a blue streak of colorful language. You might see all sorts of garish, odd and questionable dress styles. But then the students are not as shocked as some would believe because they have seen a lot on T.V, the movies, and in society all around them. So the education system plays a game of lets pretend. They have for years.
The real role modeling that's going on here is: If your female and thin, you might just be able to have an entire career centered on fake tits, veneered teeth, and a few other cosmetic alterations. Of course, you can't have any dignity but then again...that's not much of an issue for woman like this, who rationalize that if they can get men to pay them for how they look, what's the harm?
