Dish the Dirt

Wow, it's been awhile since I wrote anything worthwhile. Did I say worthwhile? Perhaps its not, but it somehow flowed for me..

Dish the dirt, wag the tongue,

Words oft fly, heaps of dung.

Idle talk, rumor mill,

Spewing lips, littered swill.

Chew the fat, opinions versed

Flapping jaws,heartache's curse.

Back is turned, a stabbing spear,

Gossip on, mine ears doth hear.

Hang in there. One of the things I tell myself is "The sun will come up again tomorrow and a new day will begin." Somehow things look better in the morning. Time heals to a certain extent and we move on.

My hubby preaches against gossip often. In in his opinion it is one of the # 1 things that destroys churches . (which include families and friendships and so on )

I haven't been around for awhile either, between work, kids, illnesses and just overall general life, it left me no time for Gather. I hated to be away from Gather cuz I have so many great friends, most definitely including you, so I am back and here to view what you have been up to.

This is a great read, I love it. I hope you post more.
