Newbie to Gather and BzzAgent ....Questions...

I can only answer your first question: I'm new to BzzAgent as well, but in my limited experience YES, when you accept MyPoints points they will automatically appear in your MyPoints accounts soon thereafter.

I can help with the Bzzagent question. You have to have an active mypoints account. From your Bzzagent homepage click status (the honeycomb icon next to your name). Then click the my stuff tab. You will see the heading Accept your points. If mypoints are offered you must accept before they expire. Otherwise your mypoints account will not be credited. You will get mypoints offers each time a bzz report is reviewed.

About Gather...as far as I have figured out...submitting conversation at the bottom of each page works similar to posting a bulletin on myspace. If you are in a "lunchbreak" senario such as with the Deli Creations campaign in the Breakroom...you simply join the conversation by submitting a comment in the "Join the Conversation" box at the bottom of the page then click submit...that gets you in the conversation...then to keep up with everyones conversation before you comment again you must keep refreshing the page.

Yes your points earned at BZZ usually show up in your mypoints acct within 2 buisness days.

Thank you all so much for ur comments! I have been a member of MyPoints for several years, just have not done a whole lot with it because of...well.. just life I guess you could say and the loss of my 15 y.o. son in an atv accident has just totally "remade" my life. I am no longer the person I once was.

Anywho, I do so appreciate knowing that a few seasoned (and newbie) souls out there are willing to help out! Also, in the event another Newbie reads this, just click on the number of points beside your user name, and you can learn more info. about points etc!! Just discovered that on my own..lol...I don't know why but I missed that in part of the Q&A section about points!! However, it does not give you info. about your BzzAgent points so thank you ALL very much!!!

Yes Gather is much better than MySpace. Once you get the hang of Gather...you will soon forget all about that other site...what was it called again? See, I forgot already. Lol.

You did get most of the answers; yes the BZZ Points you accept apear in your My Points account within usually two business days but they are pending points. If you click on the words My Account on the My Points web site then you will see that some of your points are pending and how many points that you actually have access to which will be lower until they are not pending anymore, unfortunately this takes about a month for BZZ Points to become not pending. On the left hand side of that page you cna see a list of the status of all of your points and where they came from weather through bonus emails or BZZ or anyplace else you accumulate My Points from.



As to your question about gather, gather does not really work that way exactly.

Don't get me wrong You can participate in multiple chats "live" that are happening at the moment on gather just by opening other windows with those articles that are having 'live chats" and participate in say 4 or 5 live chats, but as for them appearing on your page, gather does not work like that.

And gather is what you make it for yourself, some people only make comments , most comment when they can and post when they can. Some only post stuff they are interested in specifically. We have writers, poets, musicians and photographer who only post there specific area of interest, and then we have others who are just here for friends. Gather is what you make it.
