This list is for the Tuesday Writing Essentials Project. Dixie Black is my character, and is purely fictional. This list is fictional.
1. What are on your feet right now? Red Patent Leather Stilettos
2. What are you listening to right now? Allison Krauss. Bluegrass calms me down after a hard day's work.
3. What was the last thing you ate? A Chicken Ceasar Salad, with Homemade dressing, of course.
4. Who is the last person you spoke to on the phone? My daughter. She is upset that I am letting Carol stay here and that her husband is still out there looking for her.
5. What is your favorite sport to watch on television? Football, but only to watch those cute little hard butts.
6. What is your favorite drink? Cuervo Gold straight, with salt and lime.
7. What is your favorite day of the year? I can't pick just one, so I will say "Sunday". It's the only day I can sleep in and wear old comfy clothes all day.
8. How do you vent anger? I'd like to say by yelling and screaming, but to be honest, I bawl like a baby.
9. What is your favorite season? Autumn. I love the crisp nights and warm sunny days, as well as the leaves changing to bright reds and yellows.
10. What was the last thing that made you cry? An old Shirley Temple movie. That kid gets me every time.
11. What is on the floor of your closet? Shoes, shoes and more shoes. Did I mention shoes?
12. What are you most afraid of losing? My anonymity on the computer.
13. What is your favorite dog breed? Yellow Labs. They are so sweet as puppies, and grow into clowns.
14. What is your favorite flower? Lilacs. I adore the scent.

I'm sure. Just trying to weed out those who take every written word as fact. Tee hee hee.
In this one, I like how you are keeping your character timeline by mentioning that "Carol" is now staying with Dixie.
Awesome, Sug !!
My original image of her - tough woman, who fears nothing but the guy in the Steakhouse - keeps changing. Now, I know the confrontation at the hotel wasn't anger, or even helping Carol isn't out of anger for her soon-to-be-ex. She's still a tough woman, but not nearly as tough as she wants to be.
Also, have to add an "Amen," to her reasoning for liking football. lol Between that an Allison Krauss, I'm seeing some similarities between Dixie and me. Of course, the differences are more interesting.
Ya think? I hadn't noticed, because Dixie has much more hidden than we know., and yes, she isn't as fearless as she lets on, but she does have a tough hide, and a weakness for helping people.
for what?
this one had me laughing, but, I am stealing your answers to # 5 and #6, those are the same answers my character, and myself would say, hmmmmmmmmm.... barb n is trying to think now
I wonder if every woman has shoes on the floor of their closet too? I know this is Dixie's list, but I have shoes on the floors of three closets!!!!!
