Thoughts on Mel Gibson's divorce

Robyn Moore filed for divorce first but she didn't put in the date that they legally separated.

Shortly after she filed for divorce, Mel filed for divorce as well, but he included the exact date that they split, and that was in 2006, just after his Drunk Driving incident and anti-jew  remark.

But  recently Robyn has gotten photos of him and someone that he has been working with  in his new movie, supposedly 'frolicking' on the beach and she was seen coming out of his trailer on the set.

Ok,  now I can understand where this is going, and while he was  and still is legally married, he might have felt that he was separated and if they were not trying to reconcile their marriage that he had the right to do as he pleased.  Although he claims the pictures are of  a person he works with and that he wasn't involved with her romantically.

Now comes the problem, there was no prenuptual (sp) signed when they married, and right now under California law she is entitled to half of his estate which is setting this up to be the largest court battle for a fortune.

Its sad when people like this and their private lives are thrust into public spotlight because of their success and celebrity status.

Truthfully, I think if Mel Gibson gave up the drink and got sober, a lot of his problems would go away.....

He is very talented but it seems that alcohol controls his life.
