Has anyone gone to the Crater of Diamonds park?

I would love to visit this park! Just the thought of digging for diamonds gives me a rush! Yes I aim for the ceiling instead of the sky!

Have you been? What was it like? Where did you stay? was it expensive?

Did you find a diamond?  Let me know about your experience because mark my words I will get there someday!

Dana,my mom and I were actually talking about how we would like to mine for gems/gold one day.Theres a mine near where Jake lives in Douglasville GA so if you ever head our way,we can easily go *hint hint*

Sounds like fun, but if there are diamonds to be had, the enry fee ought to be very expensive. LOL! Or there ain't no more diamonds. :-(

Well gary I read an article earlier this year that quite a big diamond was found not in the park but on the road to where you dig! They come up in the kimberlite pipes(from volcanos long dormant) I would think after a rain because thats when all the rocks show up in my yard!
They also weight and confirm what you find and I heard you can keep it or sell it to them!

I think the average find is 1 diamond in every 3 days. I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
