My husband's a pretty good guy. I mean, of course, he has his moments of pure stupidity like most guys, but overall....he's a keeper.
Over the weekend, we were out of town, and I had the opportunity to try a Hansen's Soda for the first time and I really liked it. The whole way home, I was craving one of those sodas. So, last night, he came home from work and walked in the door with a case of Hansen's Sodas and a World's Finest Chocolate bar he'd bought from someone at work fundraising for their kids school.
He said "I know you were craving these, so I stopped at Costco on the way home and picked up a case."
My first thought was "What did you do? Did you get a speeding ticket or something?"
He laughed and said. "Nope, I didn't do anything. But I'm sure I will, so just remember this for the next time I screw up."
I thought that it was very sweet and funny at the same time!

Sounds like he is a smart guy too, stowing away the nice gesture in his mind for a future screw-up!!
Reminds me once my husband surprised me with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I looked at him "if you really loved me you would have bought me to" And from behind his back he produced a 2nd bag and said "BAM!" That when I knew - He got me.
You do have a keeper there! I love it when my hubby surprises me.
That was sweet
that is so sweet.
