High school juniors hoping to attend design college in the fall of 2010 can apply for the 2009-2010 CFDA/Teen Vogue Scholarship, in partnership with Target, and win up to $25,000 in tuition.
The winner will also receive a trip to Target headquarters in Minneapolis to work with the Target Design team plus an additional trip to New York City to attend the CFDA Fashion Awards. Five runners-up will win $5,000 each, and all six finalists will receive a Singer sewing machine as well a collection of design books and guides.
Interested candidates must submit a completed application and a mood board (with sketches) illustrating your views on fashion between July 15 and July 20, 2009. A selection committee—including top designers Richard Chai and Thakoon Panichgul— will handpick the winners later this year.
