LOVES FATE ( FACE OFF )

Tears stream down her cheeks

From her eyes, sadness peeks

Her loved one had to go

Where fear & ill winds blow

 

He & she , they were to wed

Now,  only tears is what she sheds

From her, he had to part

To the war ,that had start

 

While fighting for his life

He longed for his future wife

His thoughts were always with her

His love was hers ,for sure

 

But early one chilly morn

A new angel was born

Her name was on his dying lips

As he sailed that final ship

 

Sha stared up at the sky

Still wondering why

She hadn't heard from him in weeks

And tears streamed down her cheeks
