The VAULT Mountain Dew Challenge - Get Free Pop!

Here's another awesome freebie that you just can't pass up! If you purchase ANY mountain dew, you can get a coupon for a totally free 16oz or 20 oz Vault!



I found the coupons at 7-11 stores right by the Mountain Dew. According to the Vault site, "VAULT has just started a new promotion where you can sample VAULT brands for free, all you've got to do is visit your local grocery store or gas station and find specially marked coupons. The catch? You've got a buy a Mountain Dew. Why you might ask? VAULT believes that when you try both MD and VAULT side-by-side, you'll choose the best cirus soda in all the land, VAULT."

So as you can see, I bought my Mountain Dew and got my free vault. My opinion - the Vault is good. I have no complaints. I could see myself buying it again...or going into 7-11 every day and getting it for free until the coupons are removed. I don't think I prefer it over Mountain Dew and when you look at the ingredients - it's worse than Mountain Dew:

Carbs:
Mountain Dew: 31g per serving x 2.5 (supposed)servings per bottle = 77.5g
Vault: 32g per serving x 2.5 supposed servings per bottle = 80g

Sugars:
Mountain Dew: 31g per serving = 77.5 per bottle
Vault: 32g per seving = 80 g per bottle.

CALORIES:
Mountain Dew: 110 per serving = 275 per bottle
Vault: 120 per serving = 300 per bottle.

So, if you are a Mountain Dew lover and you "dew" decide to make the switch to Vault. Take into consideration that if you drink only 1 pop a day; by switching to Valut, you are adding 75 grams of sugar a month, 75 extra carbs a month and 750 calories PER MONTH!



I think I'll stick with the Mountain Dew...but I'll still take all the free Vaults I can get!
