If you have lost your house and put everything in storage and they are auctioning off your unit ,I have a solution for you! Low cost of course!
In the event that this should happen, get a friend to go to the auction and buy your unit!
Many times this solution can be a hell of a lot cheaper than the fees and such tacked on to the foreclosure of your unit. Newspaper fees , auctioneers fees and the like can add up to hundreds of dollars. Not to mention late fees.
Be careful because this can happen in a span of 30-60 days late and your stuff will be gone before you know it!
This is a quite popular technique for flea markets and ebay sellers to obtain fresh inventory. So be coy while bidding. Wait til it is almost gone and bid a $25 bid. Dont open your mouth and let the cat out of the bag. Dont talk to the others because if they know you want it , chances are you will be up against people with more money that want to know WHY You want it and since it is a crapshoot they are willing to gamble!
Also the unit has to be cleaned out right there and then, and you cannot leave your trash in their dumpsters. I believe in most auctions there is a cleaning deposit until you have the unit empty and broom cleaned. They dont want you to know this but this is a great oppurtunity to have your freind buy back your stuff for dirt cheap(wink)!
