Contest for the ~3,000 Here We Come!~ Group!! (4/13-4/30) Photos Added

I have 6 sets of bookmarks that I have made.  I want to give them out as prizes in this contest for my group.

Here is your challenge:  There are 390 pages of posts alone in the group.  I want that number to go WAY down!

Here are the rules:

This contest will run from today April 13 until the end of the day April 30.

You receive 1 entry for each day that you go into the group and comment on 10 different posts. (you can make it a comment to the effect of you are visiting from ~3,000 Here We Come!~)

After you have commented on the 10 posts, ping me to let me know you have done so.

You are allowed up to 3 entries each day but you will need to ping me for each 10 posts you comment on.

Not required, but I prefer if you choose your 10 posts from the archives.  They are clickable on the right side of the group home page.

Winners will be drawn and announced May 1.

There will be 6 different winners.

 

Any questions, please post them in the comment area here.

Another question:
what months do you want us to work on? Or just anywhere. I found 9 pics on featured and hit those and a post from Aug 08. should we search for most commented on hoping to find ones close to 25 comments?

great idea! I wish I had more time mostly because I know what a good feeling it is to get the posts cleared! I'll do what I can though, but don't count me in for the contest. I have to use paperclips in my books to keep the kids from snagging them and losing my place anyway!

I forget that when I edit the posts get posted to the groups again??  I edit and delete as winners choose their set...that way the next winner knows what is left....I got stuck trying to get ahold of winner #2.

What contest did you have?  And is it a group you started?  how can I join??  I know lots of questions!!  I am new to gather and I'm having fun learning and posting.

I started the group when you could get the cash option for making 3000 or more points in a month...then that changed...now I run the group where once a post , photo, or video reaches 25 or more comments it's removed from the group.  I also feature posts along the way and I have some co-moderators who are a great help in clearing content and doing featured posts too.  The link is the post will take you to the group if you do want to join.  I hope to have another contest soon once things settle down around my house (think that might happen?  LOL)
