Guess What Wonderful Thing I (literally) Stumbled Upon This Afternoon?

I got off the bus, and started walking in the direction of The Second Cup. Looking straight infront of me, I had my eyes fixed on my destination. As I was walking, my foot hit something.

"What the f***!!??"

I looked down and there was an old CRT monitor, and a computer tower with a note attached to it.

"FREE! No HD, Otherwise OK."

YAY!!!!!!!! Hubby needs a computer, and all he brought of his old one was a hard drive!!!! I called him on my cellphone, and asked if he wanted it. He wanted it, but he crabbed a bit, because the busses only run every 30 minutes on Sundays, and how the hell was he supposed to get it?

Simple! I would stand there with it till a cab arrived, have the driver load the cargo into the trunk, give him $10, and send him on his way.

I told Walker I'd call the cab, and then call him when he'd loaded the computer.

I did. He met the cab at home and they carried the stuff downstairs, and I continued on to the cafe, and had my coffee.

WOOHOO!!!! Walker's got all the technology to network the two computers so we can both be on line at the same time. Also, the new/old stuff is HP, so it looks like it'll be compatable with Walker's old hardrive.
