Just a clairification (because someone once messaged me to ask)... when I said I was glad it happened, I meant the break-up, not the relationship, LOL

This one is a bit older... from a bad break up... kind of my way of saying no, I don't want to stay friends. I was a little bit angry at the time I wrote it... well, ok a lot. XP I was good... I wrote this instead of yelling at him a lot... victory over the bipolar temper!
Now, I am soooo glad it happened. Otherwise, I would be with that jerk instead of my sweetie!

Blast to the Heart
Please don't understand
God, that's so demeaning
I don't need your sympathy
Your dehumanizing pity
Is suffocating me
It makes me feel like screaming

Don't you "handle" me
God, you're so conceited
Thinking I can't deal with it
Without your kindhearted bullshit
It's like a straitjacket
The kid gloves are unneeded

If our positions were reversed
Would all your lines sound so rehearsed
Why can't you even look me in the eyes
How can you think that this is kind
Are you out of your fucking mind
Mercy is just one of your goddamned lies

Don't look here like that
God, you're irritating
Pouring out your contrition
Like some kind of reparation
As if your affliction
Could somehow ease my grieving

Fuck you anyway
God, don't even go there
Make such a big fucking deal
Like you know how the hell I feel
Like your concern is real
As if you really could care
