These past days the Church celebrates the tridium of the passion, death, and most importantly resurrection of Jesus Christ. On Thursday we celebrated the "last supper" and Jesus' commandment to his closest friends that if they want to be in charge they have to wash other people's feet; in other words be a servant not a master. On Friday we recall his passion and behold the wood of the cross, upon which was hung our salvation.

But all did not end on that Friday and on the third day when the women went to the tomb He was not there! He had been raised, just as he had said! Alleluia!

Then hymns of joy and alleluia let us sing, for our Lord is risen indeed! Let those who have studied the faith be anointed and baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, in the waters of new life! Let them be sealed with the Holy Spirit and let them come to the table of the Lord!
