my Easter dinner menu and a wish for you

I'm a few hours early, but I wanted to wish everyone

here on Gather a Happy Easter.



I'm fixing a nice ham dinner for family and friends

that will be here.  Tonight I'm getting the place

straightened up just a bit since I'll be busy in the

kitchen in the morning getting dinner ready.



This is what I'll be serving for Easter dinner -



spiral sliced ham

long grain rice

mashed potatoes

sweet potatoes

deviled eggs

green beans with bacon

creamed corn

a relish tray with sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers,

celery sticks, carrot sticks, and black olives

and

some brown 'n serve rolls.



When I get up in the morning I'll get the apples

peeled and make a big apple crisp for dessert.

And there's vanilla ice cream in the freezer, too.



I think that will make for a good Easter dinner.

Oh yum, how do I get there???
we are having a "small" Easter here... hubby works 3rd shift and has to read (the Bible) at church tomorrow so he'll be going to bed as soon as he gets home, so no big celebration here....
we're going to leave him to sleep and go to my mom's for a bit to play cards and have ham and cheese sandwiches.

YUM!! Easter dinner sounds great at your place! We're doing a big meal too for the whole family, turkey, ham, green bean casserole, corn casserole, deviled egg, rolls, banana vanilla wafer pudding, coconut cream pie, apple pie, maybe blueberry pie. I think that's most of the menu for the 16 of us though I might have missed listing something! LOL Happy Easter to you and your family too!

Your meal sounds great! I'm doing a buffet for 16 with ham, baked macaroni and cheese, baked beans, pickled eggs, deviled eggs, bread pudding, rolls, broccoli salad and for dessert coconut cake, chocolate cupcakes, fruit salad, peanut butter fudge and brownies. Have a wonderful Easter!

What's funny is that your dinner is almost identical to our dinner menu for tomorrow! What a nice coincidence. But we made our rolls today from scratch, and we're having an applesauce cinnamon salad.

Sounds good. We are having a dinner for about 16.. Menu is ham and turkey, dressing , mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, baked macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, green bean casserole, rolls, gravy, deviled eggs and chocolate pudding cake for dessert...
