Look What I Made!!

So I've shown you my bedroom and how sparce things are.  I really wanted something to go in there that would look nice on the wall.  I mulled it over for a while and then it hit me.  So I took some of our old Valentines, Sweetest Day, Birthday and Anniversary cards, along with some scrapbooking paper and stickers and created a collage.  What do you think?

I think that is a great idea and it came out really nice. I have all my cards in a suitcase so this is a great use of them.

I'm glad everyone likes it. I'm thinking of doing similar things, maybe go to yard sales and find old greeting cards and stuff. Creating my own art work in this fashion.

That looks great! I have been saving brochures, tickets, maps and other things from all my vacations. My idea was to paper a whole wall with them . . . if I ever settle down someplace where I intend to stay for the rest of my life.

dianne, that sound like a wonderful idea... I wonder if my husband would let me do that!
or perhaps I'll just use smaller fraims form different things.

It's amazing how similar the cards are that you've collected through the years. If one didn't know better, they might think you'd planned it just that way! I think this is a wonderful collection and put together so nicely! Good job!
