Hope of Easter

As we look to the resurrection of Christ this Easter, let us also remember what a message of hope this is for our everyday lives.

On Good Friday, Jesus was nailed to the cross in the most horrible death imaginable.  His agony was not even something we can fathom.  I would imagine that on that day, onlookers saw no light at the end of the dark tunnel.  I would imagine that their hearts were so grieved at the loss of their dearest friend that they could not imagine ever feeling whole again.

Still, Sunday came.  And with it came a light from the darkness...a message of hope for the entire world that what was perceived as lost was indeed still alive.  What was perceived as hopelessness was indeed the greatest message of hope the world would ever receive.

No matter what you are facing in your life, do not give up hope.  Miracles happen every single day.  I have seen them in my own life time and time again.  That which I worried and cried over would soon pass, and I would realize that everything was going to be okay.  Even if the problem does not pass, it is often for another reason which often results in a greater good.

Never give up hope.  On this Easter, remember the hope of Christ...the hope of eternal life...and the knowledge that He is with us each and every day.  No matter how low we go, He is there.  No matter what we are facing, He is there.
