I just spotlighted a post I did on the illness and eventual death of my horse Sun.

The reason? Today would have been his 26th birthday.

So, happy Birthday my beloved Sun. I miss you daily.

We lost our dog Bowzer today. He had several strokes and just did not recover from the last one. I share your sadness. Each time we lose a pet, we lose something precious

Thanks. I reciprocate sympathies for all of you who have suffered a similar loss. Bowzer just left? How sad. My Kiowa (Lab) died from a stroke too, about 6 years ago now.

Also, Sun was special! Well, we all say that about our animals, but this Tennessee Walker, stallion whom I had for 22 years saved my life, more than once!
I always wanted horses. Happy b-day Sun.

One of my South African friends has a horse too. Eventually it leaves us behind. I have observed the pain. I can understand your feelings. I had wrote one for her: The horse was called as Flicka;-
