There will be NO photos of the Easter egg hunt

We left the house a little before 8am this morning to go to an Easter egg hunt with my brother-in-law and 2 nephews.  We picked them up at their house and then headed to the high school where the Easter egg hunt was being held.

When we left the house, it was a little chilly, so we took sweatshirts along just incase.  Well, on the way there, it started sprinkling.  No big deal, a little water won't hurt anyone.   It started raining harder and harder - it ended up being perfect weather for ducks!  We got DRENCHED to the core.

Of course, I wasn't going to take my camera out in that weather, so no pictures from today's Easter egg hunt.  It rained cats and dogs until 3pm this afternoon.  Now it's sunny, go figure.

The kids had a great time, so that's all that matters!  I just wish I could have gotten a few pictures of the madness.  LOL!

I'm hoping the weather in nice tomorrow and I can't get photos at that Easter egg hunt.

BOOOOOOOO!! I really love looking at pics of smiling kiddies finding easter eggs, I bet you and the children were disappointed ... thats a real shame, hopefully tomorrow will be pretty and you can hide some in the yard for them

It was a perfect spring day here today! The kid had to work, as there was a burial at the cemetery, we picked him up, went out to eat and then went shopping......!!

I really dislike the rain, but Ill agree that if the children had a blast, then it was all worth it..Thats all that really counts...lol..Glad ya had fun and I hope the sun shines on ya tomorrow...

well that's sad Bridget. William and I have ruined 2 cameras one dropped on a hard surface and on in the creek. That's sad too.

Aw, at least it's not becuase you lost your camera! It's not raining here but is supposed to pour tomorrow so I guess we'll be having an indoor egg hunt. :) I'm taking dd out for her Easter portraits today while it's dry!

What a shame about the photos! We have new next door neighbors and we have seen them outside a couple of times during the past week. The parents go around the yard and hide plastic eggs for the little ones to find. Lots of fun to watch them.

Well, I'm glad to hear that your kids had fun despite the downpour of rain everyone had to deal with. It was one of those kind of days today, except it hasn't rained yet.

OUr big Easter Egg hunt was cancelled due to the weather...it was a real bummer, since it would have been Angela's last year.
