Easter Egg Hunt

Today we took Little Miss to her first Easter egg hunt.  We decided to take our bicycle, since the weather was nice and we figured it might be crowded.  I'm so glad we did, the crowds were huge!

 

Little Miss let the Easter Bunny hold her, and then we talked to some friends we ran into until time for the hunt.  

A helicopter did some tricks in the air, and dumped a few of the eggs out.  Most of the eggs had been dumped out beforehand.  

Once the hunt started, it was complete chaos!  Fortunately I got Little Miss in and out before things got too crazy.  She didn't win any prizes, but she did have a wonderful time!  

The pics below show the crowd taht was there and all of the eggs out in the field.

Oh, my! What fun times for you guys! Enjoy every minute and let the house get dirty. It'll still be there for the cleaning when she is 13 and hates your guts (at least every now and again)...mine are 17-19-21 and I wish I could turn back to Two and start over. I would have the dirtiest house in the neighborhood! (as long as it wasn't unhealthy!)

She had a blast just taking the eggs and putting them in and out of her basket. Then she's open and close all of the eggs. Fun stuff!
