Her parents made an appearance on the Dr. Phil show about cyber-bullying to discuss this horrific event that changed their lives forever and ended the life of their young daughter.

I mourn for her.
…
for a girl
How can we save our kids from this horrible bullying? Whether it's on the playground, in the locker room at school, or on the web?
It always bothers me to think that anyone can feel good about bullying another person, however subtle it might be. I think it's a real show of poor self-esteem to think that belittling another person can make one appear more important or "cool".
It's a totally ugly behavior that should not be tolerated.
With the advent of technology, it's become tougher to fight.
We all need to band together to monitor what our kids are doing online.
To make sure they are safe.
To heck with privacy.
If it saves your kid's life, it's worth it.
