I'm sharing some photos of Missy with you and Layla because she has a blog, The Boomer Muse, which features a cat of the week every Saturday and she asked if she could feature Missy this week.
Since Missy is feeling sad with the darn itchy owies from the fleas who decided to visit us, I know Missy is honored to be Layla's feature this week. So here are some photos from the last four wonderful years we have had with our darling little furball. (Well she's a little flea bag right now but we still love her.)
Missy with Andy before he passed.

In her bed she hardly fits into any longer.

Her favorite way to get a drink. Silly girl.

Chilling out for a while.

Checking out another source of water. Yucky, someone forgot to close the lid.

Keeping warm in at the mountain house. She traveled to the mountains with us every weekend.

She is so good at traveling we don't need a cat carrier.

Keeping a close eye on Mom.

Hiding from Fuzzy at the mountain house.

Her first experience in the snow.

Going for a walk in the mountains.

Taking a nap with Dad.

Too tired to move.

Getting ready to move to SC.

Sweetness purrsonified.

Refusing to smile for the camera.

Falling out of bed.

She barely fits in her bed, but still loves it.

Testing the sink at the new house for size and comfort.

Don not disturb please.

Just being Missy.

Her latest photo session.
I have so many photos of Missy, but these are a few of my favorites. We hope the flea bombing tomorrow works, we've all had enough already.

Portia doesn't need a carrier for car rides, either. Just goes to sleep on the floor! :)
Good luck with the flea bombing!
As for the fleas, good luck....when Maggie got them a couple years ago, it took 2 bombings about 2 weeks apart...that way we got all the adults...then any of the ones that didn't die the first time and hatched. Fleas are very hearty critters.
I've never had a cat that liked riding in a car,
they've always just screamed and pitched a fit.
