My youngest daughter had her first baby a few weeks ago. I have to admit I was nervous about this one because Kat hasn't always acted in the most mature ways. How would she handle a baby?
I have to admit she is doing a wonderful job. She calls me for advice on things and also has home help in the way of a group called New Hope. They go into homes of young and new parents, specially unwed mothers and help them, give advice and make sure they have resources.
The baby is thriving and my daughter is handling it well. Also, I might add, the daddy is doing his best to do his responsibility. They live together and they both seemed to have matured a lot.
