With a merge on its way Survivor Tocantins is moving into the second phase and promises to be even more exciting. Although Timberia has two more then Jalapao, side alliances could change that for the first time. Following the vote off of Sydney, Jalapao returned to camp worried about their future. Joe felt the odd man out while Stephen seemed nervous, not sure why. Taj was the only happy one knowing it was either her or Sydney leaving. Of course she felt bad for voting her out but she couldn’t be too sad considering she’s still there. The next morning Coach is all crazy and does a “samurai” meditation. Apparently he thinks he created it, yeah. He then gave everyone massages, making even Erinn like him. Coach’s plan is to convert his love for his tribe into a love for himself, realizing its time to go individual. He’s smart, but very very crazy.
Back over on Jalapao it was all about Joe. His leg was infected and Taj knew there was something up. Joe wouldn’t realize there was a huge problem, pushing himself through the pain just for numbers. That’s all they really worried about: numbers and probably cared more about that then Joe’s leg. Back over on Timberia a confusing Tree Mail was read. It said that the winning tribe would get a feast along with their heads spinning. Most there thought a merge was on its way while Jalapao thought it was a challenge. Stephen was the only one that was right, but nobody else would listen. At a sand island both tribes met to feast and become one. They went through a few names before agreeing on Forza, which of course was from Coach. While some were more happy about the food, basically all of Jalapao, others still thought about the game. While putting on their new green buffs, Sierra flat out asked why Jalapao voted the way they did the last two rounds. All were caught off guard and really didn’t answer as they wanted that info to help them hopefully stay with the lower numbers.
Arriving at the new Forza camp, aka the old Timberia camp, the game was on. While JT and Brendan wanted to rebuild the shelter, Debbie wanted a tour to begin. It was obvious that Timerbia was in power but there were some cracks. While fishing JT and Coach began talking and Coach recommended aligning with himself, JT, Tyson, Stephen along with Debbie. JT was all for it, considering how much the others want him out. He basically wanted Coach to bite, and sure enough he did. How funny they were fishing at the time. Brendan is their target as JT revealed he has the idol, thanks to info from Taj. Coach wasn’t happy that Brendan lied to him and that’s basically the reason he now wants to flip.
Tyson and Coach then met and discussed the alliance, which Tyson was all for. They agree that Brendan should go if he has the idol which led to Tyson to talk to Stephen. It seems it was a whisper down the ally on the alliance forming but alas it has. Or at least they SAY it has. Stephen, who has alliances with everyone now, was glad that there was a crack in the group but he’s gonna have some issues when the Exile alliance spills the beans. The next morning Taj is freaking out that Brendan hasn’t talked about the Exile alliance to her. She feels that he and Sierra are not going along with the Exile group, thanks to the larger numbers. She couldn’t be more wrong though. Brendan’s thought is to hide the group until they really need it. I guess he could turn on them if he wants, but as of now he just doesn’t want it revealed. Although I’m sure most know. Before the immunity challenge Joe and Erinn rekindled their Exile fling by looking for the idol. They flirted all the way to Tree Mail, only to learn the idol was gone. Guess Brendan wasn’t as smart as Taj, considering the fake idol hid her secret.
For their first individual immunity the Forza tribe had to hang onto a pole. That’s it. The person who held onto a pole the longest would win the individual immunity, the first for the season. It seems the guys had issues with this one as Stephen then Joe dropped down first. Jeff pointed out Joe’s infected leg as he fell, which would lead into some issues later on. Brendan, Taj and Erinn then fell down followed by JT. That left all Timberia left as Coach so forcefully exclaimed. It seems he’s not “lieing” yet told Jeff that Timberia was sticking together? Um isn’t that a lie? With that Coach easily jumped down followed by Sierra sliding down with a hard landing. Debbie and Tyson remained and after thirty minutes, Debbie slid down giving Tyson the win. He was cocky about it, of course, and considered himself holding all the power. Following the challenge Jeff had Joe stay behind. He wanted medical to look at his leg and that they did. They told Joe that his leg was really bad, the infection was close to the bone and could lead into the blood stream. Joe was given the question of staying or not as we went back to the Forza camp.
Now that Tyson was on his power trip as he pulled Timberia together. While Stephen and JT went to talk alone, and Taj in the shelter, the group decided to vote JT out of the game. Brendan realized that they could turn on him, but really didn’t see that happening. Joe was also still missing, making all wonder where he was and making it seem obvious he wouldn’t be returning. While JT and Coach went to fish, and basically say they were voting out Brendan, Taj and Stephen talked. She was still upset about Brendan/Sierra not talking about the Exile alliance and Stephen broke the news about Brendan going. Taj didn’t seem to care though since she couldn’t trust him anymore, seeming like Brendan was long gone unless he used the idol. That was the worry of Stephen and JT who feared the idol would screw them over and send JT home. The plan was then to split the votes, some going to Brendan and others going to Sierra. Tyson and Coach agreed although their numbers were a bit screwy as they forget Joe most likely wouldn’t be voting.
Jeff broke up the rainy day though as he entered camp for the first time this season, never a good sign. He told them about Joe’s injury and that he wouldn’t be returning to the game but rather medevaced out to a hospital. Not sure if he will be in the jury or not but they started promoting the Ponderosa online episodes so I assume he could be. Jeff then told them there would be no Tribal Council and oddly many were upset. Tyson was ready to vote Brendan out and felt the extra days would hider anything he built with Jalapao. Back at the challenge location we saw Joe for the last time. He said he didn’t really want to go but valued his leg and life more then the game. It sucks when anyone has to leave the game without really being voted off, especially if someone TELLS them to leave. Who knows how this will change the game but as we’ve seen anything is possible as Forza is probably the messiest tribe in a long time.
