This one was written for my husband, who still gives me butterflies and turns my knees to butter after 11 years together.

He dreams in color, speaks in black and white
So I understand everything he says
He'll rest the world on his broad shoulders
And still walk tall among the trees
His soul's fire sparkles in his eyes
Through waves of fallen raven hair
Above an innocently wicked grin
He wears only for me
Speaking my name in that low, soft voice
He knows I can't resist
He banishes the world beyond the circle of his arms
Enfolding me gently with his spirit
Guiding me from rapture to bliss
With not that gentle touch of his big, strong hands
But the gentle passion of his beautiful heart
And the strongest, softest kiss
Of angel's wings, or lover's lips
