Easter Greetings of Long Ago ~~ I have a penchant for old greeting post cards and also the sentiments written on the back. When I moved into this house, I found a whole album filled with vintage post cards. What a great gift for me - a house warming gift from folks who once lived here. A gift that has warmed my heart many times over. I hope these warm your as well. Salud

Thank you Arleen - well, print this out and tack it up as well! These come from Montana I see - I have to trace this whole family of Schmidts - somehow the last owner ended up with them and I've had them for 27 years!
Thank you Nancy! Salud
wow Penni - thank you for that translation!!! I so appreciate it - my handwriting is quite flowery too - now, I know that probably no one can read it either!!! Salud
Just because I'm not active does not mean that I'm not with you.
Yes I could read those messages. They are beautiful because they are simple and totally sincere.
I regard the Easter weekend as the most important religious event in my calendar. It's when Jesus died for me...and you...and everyone.
It's the weekend that I'm reminded that my sins CAN be forgiven. I'm also reminded that I can forgive the sins of others who repent.
But that does not mean that I won't share a drink with you. I will drink my favourite "Rubicon". I'll lift my glass to you and know that you'll lift your glass to me.
Bless you dear Mariana.
happy easter to you and r and all the fuzzies.
thanks Sistah and remember don't eat too much sweet stuff!

Awww Ralph - how sweet - thank you!
Fred - omg - what a very pleasant surprise my dear goblet lifting friend - I salute you and lift the crystal - may you be blessed with peace on this Easter. I miss you though you are always with me as well and I shall jump over to your space for a visit now that I know that you're about!!! Salud Fred
But for you, my sweet friend, I'll wish a Happy Easter.
(I do hope someone brings me some ham.)
Mysteries are everywhere.
Thank you for sharing these lovely cards, Mariana.

I'm staying focused and walking, drinking the water and eating my oatmeal daily and I always get a lot of veggies. A Large Green Salad with left over veggies is my lunch daily. I limit myself to 2 to 3 fruits a day. I don't need a weight chart. I step on the scales once a week and I'm down one pound from when we started. My clothes are looser and that feels good. I put myself on a weight loss program over a month ago and your wisdom just re-enforces that. Thanks so much.
We are the lucky ones.
There are so many friends on our friends lists and so many articles being posted that it's very difficult to say hello to everyone. I thank you very much for stopping to say hello to me. A big "hello" to you to. I hope today will be your best day yet.
