Breast Cancer Fundraiser---UPDATE

First of all let me apologize for disappearing for the last month.  I have been soooooo busy.

I am working on the fundraiser 24 hours a day.  I have personally combed the entire local area for sponsers and donations, and I have now moved on to writing letters.

We have 1 month to go and it doesn't seem like enough time.  I have so much to do.

Last night I sat down with all the gift certificate and I have 96 at a total of over $1200.00.  YAY!!!!

Today I will be catalogging actual items that have been donated.

After I have a completed list we will be using that list to make poster board signs that will list all our sponsers.  These signs will be hung up at the event so everyone can see where we got our stuff.

I am still collecting items daily, though that has slowed to a trickle.

I worry that we won't have enough stuff.  We have to have enough to keep the auction going for 5 hours.  This time will be broken up somewhat with other events we have going on, but not much.

I'm hoping to get pictures of all the items today and I will share those with you soon.  One of my greatest gift baskets comes directly from a gather member, who actually took the time to ship me a box FULL of bath and body items to use at the auction.  More on that later.

We got our raffle license and have been selling tickets.  I have great friends and family who are helping out with that.  I will be rewarding the person who sells the most tickets with a small gift basket full of items they can use.

I am still asking for help if you can do it.  If any of you would like to donate please contact me.  There are so many talented people on here that I would love to share that.  We are taking any donation big or small and using it in our auction. 

I apologize if this is a little disconnected.  I usually can write a better flowing piece, but that's how the brains working today.  I'm off to pick up a donation from a local jam maker.
