I don't care for this bookmarket at all. I think its use only encourages content to be copied and pasted from other sources as well as exacerbates the publishing of frivolous short posts linking to news stories on other sites. This behavior has been increasing lately, and primarily serves to diminish the value of all Gather content even further.

Interesting insight Kevin. There are, however, times when I'd like to post a head's up to my readers without the normal publishing rigmarole. This seems to perfectly fill that bill, presuming it's kept to a minimum.... ; )

Sorry, there is a typo in my comment above. the word "bookmarket" should have been typed "bookmarklet". I wouldn't blame you at all if you decided to remove my comment because of this error.

In theory, it's a useful tool. Then, the reality of how things work kicks in. The problem is, of course, that some people don't use things in moderation.
