Thank you Gather!

Thanks to everyone who has commented on my posts the last few days. I cashed out for $50 a day or two ago and it is already in my Paypal account!

I'm using the money I've earned here at Gather to completely pay for a trip to visit my mom and grandmother in Florida. It's so awesome that Gather is helping me go on vacation!

My next Gather goal is to get a laptop, so I've got a lot of Gathering ahead of me before that goal is met. Hopefully this laptop will last long enough for me not to have to use any of my savings. I'd like to try and use only Gather earnings so my savings stays intact.

Are you saving you Gather earnings for anything in particular?

I haven't decided on anything in particular, but of course when I start gaining more points i'm sure i'll have my eye on the prize!

If I had to make a decision on what I would use my Gather earnings for...something specific I would lose my mind! I can never decide. A laptop is a great goal. I wouldn't mind earning one of those!

I have decided to save up my earnings for birthdays, Christmas and emergencies. I am about 1000 points away from $50- it's going to be a while. Even when I post and read like crazy I never seem to get a whole lot of points. Sometimes I will have a nice point jump but usually 2 articles and a few hours worth of reading/commenting will only get me 50 points. Without the articles it's more like 30-40 points.
But so far so good. Usually by the time I reach the $25 cashout I redeem it and use it on something that doesn't show my effort, like some toiletries. I hate when I do that!

Not really saving for anything special, just getting giftcards to borders and amazon to save up for things I don't want to spend actual money on (must save...)
