I have been invited to join several new groups in the last couple of weeks.
I am just curious if having your own group is a real bonus?
Do you earn extra points from it?
What is the true advantage of having your own group?

Guess you don't know either!
o many people start a group and than not moderate or monitor it. No matter how much we know adults are on this site and should be able to choose grups that goes with their theme. They don't, instead they choose every group they are a member of and send their content to. Thus causes a headahe for group owners.
I left several groups today becaue the group was onc them related. but for someone it has gotten off the theme of the group and became a post all group.
Plus the majority of people here arent' in it for the fish sticks...
i wonder what the time commitment is of having your own group?
The answer is yes! ...and no.
It really depends upon your goals.
Why would you want to create a group?
...to earn more points?
...to organize your own content?
...to discuss a specific topic of interest?
The questions above are extremely important when considering group ownership. Then, once you have the answers to those questions, you can then determine the best way to structure and manage your group (I can help you with that too, if needed).
If you have any questions about the above, or need additional information, please post a comment on any daily HelpCenter post (link below). I'll be happy to provide you with some helpful advice.
