After all that sex, kissing,
Flowers bought, and chocolates
Consumed, he said he doesn't
Love you and never had; how
Bad can it get for you? Has
He never loved you with a
Passion, not even at the
Beginning with all that sex
And enjoyable sinning?
Was it pretence on his part?
Had he no thoughts of deep love,
No blood filled heart? You dry your
Hair with the towel, reflect on
His words, feel the cleansed body
Now dry, your naked form so
Undesirable, at
Least he says now, after all
That time, passion and making
Love and kissing. What happened?
What was I missing? You muse.
His words seemed true enough then,
Seemed kind and sweet, the laughter
In his eyes seemed to show joy
And satisfaction. But now,
He says he never loved you
So and never had from the start.
Maybe now he's happy, now
As you sit with your torn heart.
